Jr4x SILVER, Sportsmanship GOLD

April 12-13, 2025, SARASOTA, FL. These sophomore girls were so happy to race together again--in the same quad (except for seat 2 and bow swapping)--to recreate their 2024 gold performance in the Freshman 4x. Alas, the Sarasota boat--with three juniors and a sophomore--served up some very impressive tech and strength to decisively earn their 2025 gold medals.

The real race shaped up to be for the remaining two spots on the podium. Ultimately, our OARS girls broke open water for their silver finish over MRC, with the Beach taking a close fourth.

But when watching the video and listening to the announcers at the end of that finals race, what made this mom most proud was the observation, immediately following their cross at the finish line: "What class from OARS to turn around and clap for their gold medal winners." Congratulations to that very strong Sarasota boat, and to the rest of our competitors: we hope to see you again for some incredible racing next year!
