Headed to 2025 Nationals! Thank you, SE Regionals

Late-spring wind, chop and chill didn't stop our roll. The pair was a challenge in these conditions, but we DID IT. See you back in Sarasota for Nationals!!

May 9-11, 2025, GAINESVILLE, GA. Another fantastic voyage! A windy, rainy couple days, and training and competing split between the pair and the 4 and 3 seats on the first Varsity 8+ pushed us to keep on keepin' on, and (mostly) loving it. It would have been great to come into either boat with "fresh legs," but it is a huge honor to have raced in two varsity categories on this stage as sophomores.

In the pair, the battle for second place was close for much of the entire 2000. We learned some lessons and we are putting in as many meters as possible focusing exclusively on the pair in training for Nationals.

When conditions are trying, we remember one of our favorite stories about preparation and visualizing a win through unexpected adversity. If you haven't read it before, do a Google search for "Michael Phelps broken goggles story" to see how preparing for extremities can make you stronger. Resilience and cool-headedness are huge--ask sisters who row a pair together! We work a lot on treating each other as teammates over siblings and it isn't always easy.

Good luck to everyone at Nationals! See you in Sarasota ... Guess Who's Back, Back Again, OARS is Back, Tell Yo Friends, M. Dirt Back, A. Dirt Back, Watch Yo Back, Medal Dat! #workharderthanyoureasked #funfollowstheanderts #aintnomercywhenthatandertpairisworkin
